Job summary

Nottingham CityCare Partnership is seeking a registered nurse to join the Housebound Continence team at Sherwood Rise Health Centre. You will conduct holistic continence assessments in patients’ homes, develop management plans, implement care, and evaluate outcomes within a community setting.

Drive to city-wide visits and collaborate with Specialist Nurses for support. The role emphasizes autonomous practice, professional development, and teaching junior staff, with core hours 08:30–16:30,

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with UK NMC registration and 1st level registration.
• Experience working in community settings.
• Full driving licence with ability to travel between locations.
• Strong communication and team-working skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and CPD.

Responsibilities

• Complete holistic continence assessments and re-assessments in community settings.
• Provide continence advice to patients, carers and staff, including teaching and research involvement.
• Maintain contemporaneous records as an autonomous practitioner.
• Supervise student nurses on placement with the service.
