Job description

COMMUNITY CONSULTANT PAEDIATRICIAN & NAMED DOCTOR FOR SAFEGUARDING

You will be expected to:

1. Work as part of multidisciplinary teams: Providing care to babies, children, and young people across Waltham Forest.
2. Provide senior medical support: Offering guidance to the team.
3. Direct engagement: Work directly with babies, children, young people, and their families; liaise with external health providers and hospitals as appropriate.
4. Participate in the local Child Protection rota.
5. Support your peers and team leader: Be an effective team member while allowing others to work independently.
6. Work alongside: 4.4 WTE Consultant Paediatricians, 2 WTE Specialist Grade Doctors, 1 WTE Specialty Doctor, 3 WTE Core/GP Trainees within the service.
7. Commit to collaborative working: Support and liaise actively with other health, social professionals, and agencies.
