An established industry player is seeking a passionate individual to deliver the Premier League Primary Stars programme across Greater Manchester. This role focuses on enhancing students' confidence and competence through engaging physical education and social action projects. You will work closely with primary schools and SEND schools, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for learning. Established in 1986, City in the Community is the registered charity of Manchester City and exists to empower healthier lives through football. Reaching 20,000 people each season, programmes place physical and mental wellbeing at their core, whilst also creating healthy futures and healthy communities.
The purpose of this role is to deliver the Premier League Primary Stars programme within primary schools and SEND schools across Greater Manchester. The programme includes the delivery of National Curriculum PE, targeted interventions, PSHE, social action projects, SEND PE lessons, teacher CPD and educational workshops along with football-based English and numeracy workshops.
Limited decision-making authority: the role directly delivers various programmes so is an escalation point for any issues arising within that business area.
Reports into Primary Schools Officer.
