Job description

We are proposing to operate the space from 6am to 6pm when we transition to a Fitness Space on June 16th. The colleague in the community co-ordinator role would be available during standard working hours (9/5 or 9/6) to cover most of the day and facilitate any external users currently in the space.

Additional Security Points

  • Proposed additional patrols to cover 6am-9pm when the coordinator is not present for colleague safety.
  • We need to understand what can be done regarding allowing users access at weekends to use welfare facilities (football teams).

Job description:

A colleague is required to be situated within the gym area at Chester Cawley House and manage the facilities, including the gym and indoor/outdoor sports facilities. Responsibilities include ensuring smooth operation, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. User Management: Sign in and out all users, including non-LBG individuals, maintaining accurate records.
  2. Risk Assessments: Ensure all risk assessments are documented and current.
  3. Insurance Documentation: Record user insurance and liability info for compliance and safety.
  4. Space Maintenance: Conduct regular checks to ensure cleanliness and order, reporting issues to facilities management.
  5. Emergency Response: Act as the first aider, providing immediate assistance in emergencies.
  6. Facility Access: Manage access for external users, ensuring adherence to guidelines.
  7. Fitness Classes: Facilitate regular fitness classes for LBG colleagues during working hours.
