Job summary

A community nursing team is seeking a qualified Children’s Nurse to join their progressive team. The successful applicant will deliver high-quality nursing care to children in the community, support families on the Palliative Care Pathway, and assist children with various nursing needs. Candidates must hold a Registered Children’s Nursing Qualification and have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualifying experience. Own transport is essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience in children's nursing.
  • Experience with children’s nursing in the last 12 months.
  • Own transport is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality, evidence-based nursing care to children in the community.

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Children’s Nurse to join our friendly and progressive community children’s nursing team (CCNT) at Family Nursing and Home Care.

Responsibilities
  • The successful applicant will be required to ensure the CCNT continue to provide high quality, evidenced based nursing care to children in the community, support children who have a package of care, families on the Palliative Care Pathway and children/young people attending MAL who have a nursing need.
Qualifications
  • You will have a Registered Children’s Nursing Qualification (Degree/Diploma) with a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience, with children’s nursing experience in the last 12 months.
  • Own transport is essential.
