Are you a qualified paediatric nurse interested in furthering your community career or moving into a Community Children's Nursing Band 6 role? An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Band 6, 1 WTE permanent posts in the Children’s Community Nursing Service, based at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. We are looking for highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Children’s Nurses who are passionate about providing high quality care to babies, children and young people in the community setting. You will require at least 2 years post graduate general paediatric experience, and you will need to be a car owner and driver. The service has been rated by the Care Quality Commission as Good in all five domains and has received positive feedback from the London Healthy Partnership peer review.
Queen Mary’s Hospital for Children is based at the St Helier site. Children are seen in the dedicated Paediatric A&E which sits alongside the adult ED, as well as Outpatient clinics, Ward and assessment unit. We support staff development and offer learning and development opportunities.
Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust provides a range of medical services to approximately 490,000 people living across southwest London and northeast Surrey. The Trust also provides specialist renal and neonatal intensive care services to a wider area, covering parts of Sussex and Hampshire. The area served is diverse, with a mix of urban and rural communities. The Trust works with NHS Surrey and NHS Sutton & Merton to deliver care to the communities served.
