Job Title: Chemotherapy Nurse - Homecare Service

Location: Manchester (with regional travel required)

Salary: £40,500 - £44,500 per annum + excellent benefits

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Chemotherapy Nurse to join a dedicated homecare service team. In this role, you will deliver specialist one-to-one cancer care within patients' own homes, providing a truly personalised and holistic care experience.

You will work across the Manchester region, offering treatment, support, and reassurance to patients and their families, while helping to improve their quality of life. This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference every day, building meaningful relationships with patients and supporting them throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer a range of haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments, following individual patient care plans.
  • Provide high-quality, patient-focused care, ensuring a safe and comfortable treatment experience.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation, reporting any adverse drug events through the correct protocols.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals to support recovery and wellbeing.
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge, ensuring full compliance with policies, procedures, and professional standards.
  • Travel regionally to visit patients, providing care in their homes.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration.
  • Qualified and experienced in administering cytotoxic drugs.
  • Skilled in cannulation and conducting clinical assessments.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential, due to regional travel).
