Job summary

Leeds Mencap, based at the Vinery Centre in East Leeds, is seeking a Centre Manager. The role oversees the Centre Support Team and Administrator, ensuring the venue is well maintained, secure, and run efficiently.

You will coordinate activities, optimise resources, and enhance visitor experience while contributing to strategic leadership. The role is permanent, 37.5 hours per week (with flexibility including evenings and weekends); homeworking may be possible in some cases.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a busy community centre.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Vinery Centre is well maintained and secure.
• Coordinate activities to avoid clashes and over-commitment of resources.
• Ensure all service users and clients have a good experience when they visit.
• Manage room hire to deliver an unrestricted income stream for the organisation.
• Contribute to the strategic leadership of the organisation.
