Job summary

Telford and Wrekin CVS is seeking a Community Link Worker to support Adult Carers, delivering information, signposting and access to services. The role focuses on registrations, attending events and linking with harder-to-reach communities.

The post involves multiagency work across Adult Social Care and partners, with a focus on wellbeing and community integration. 30 hours per week on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027.

Qualifications

• Evidence of GCSEs including English and Maths.
• Keyboard skills and ability to use MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
• NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advice, support and signposting for Unpaid Family Carers.
• Respond to carers' queries via telephone helpline and email inbox.
• Respond to referrals and self-referrals into the All Age Carers Centre from public and professionals.
• Work with internal/external colleagues for a multiagency approach.
• Contribute content to newsletters, website, social media and other channels.
• Engage with the public at community hubs, meetings and events to offer practical solutions.
