Community Care Professional - Newquay

Our client, one of the leading community care organisations in Cornwall, is seeking a small team of community care professionals to join their team. We have both full-time and part-time positions available in the Newquay area.

Requirements:

  • Driving licence and access to your own car are essential.

The role includes:

  • 40p per mile mileage allowance
  • Shift patterns: 7am - 2pm and 4pm – 10pm
  • Full-time hours: 30 – 40 per week
  • Part-time hours: 16 – 24 per week
  • Opportunities for career growth and full on-the-job training provided

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals within the community, in their homes
  • Assist with personal care and daily living activities
  • Administer medications and monitor health conditions, recording updates accurately
  • Support individuals to access appointments and community activities
  • Maintain detailed and honest records of services and client progress
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and colleagues to ensure well-being
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
