Overview

Helpers Homecare is seeking Care Assistants to support service users with mobility problems and other physical disabilities. The role includes assisting with aids/adaptations, personal equipment, and delivering high-quality, respectful care in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes.
• Assist with personal care, including washing, bathing and toileting arrangements.
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks, and assist with feeding if required.
• Support with preparing and administering medication as directed.
• Contribute as needed to a person's end-of-life care.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
