Job summary

Randstad Care AS is seeking Community Support Workers to join our outreach service across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire. Roles involve supporting children and adults aged 7–54 with daily activities, personal care, and safety, with flexible day shifts and options for full-time hours.

The role focuses on reliable, compassionate support in community settings, with mileage reimbursement and a driving requirement. Shifts run Mon-Fri 09:00–19:30 and every 2nd Saturday, no Sundays.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle to transport service users (mileage reimbursed; business insurance required).
• Previous care experience (Children, Adults, or Complex Needs/Pica support preferred).
• Emergency First Aid knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive and accompany service users on trips to parks, science centres, and in-house play schemes featuring sensory and jungle rooms.
• Assist with personal care and continence support (including nappy changing for young people), manage emergency first aid when required, and support individuals with specific needs such as Pica.
• Deliver dependable, scheduled support to eliminate package cancellations and provide high quality care.
