About The Role

Community Care & Support Assistant Team

Location: Bournemouth & Poole District

Pay rate: £13.15 per hour + £2.00 per hour Bank Holiday enhancement rate

Travel: Paid Travel Time £12.21 per hour + 40p per mile mileage allowance

Hours: Full Time, Part Time, and Bank Available

Care South at Home has an exciting opportunity for Home Care & Support Assistants to join the Bournemouth & Poole District Team.

The home care team provides services including companionship, household tasks, personal care, grocery shopping, prescription pickups, and meal preparation.

You will need a full UK driving license and access to transport as you will be visiting clients in their homes.

You should be naturally compassionate and understanding. Previous care experience is not necessary; experience in customer care or community support is valuable.

A full induction and training program will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care and encouragement
  • Assisting with medication, meal prep, and domestic tasks
  • Supporting with personal care, washing, and dressing
  • Supporting community visits (shopping, leisure trips)
  • Communicating regularly with the office support team
