Qualifications

  • At least 2+ years PQE or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Community Care Law and Legal Aid funding.
  • Excellent communication skills and positive attitude.

Overall Purpose of the role:

To provide first rate legal services to our clients according to their specific needs, ensuring full compliance with policies and procedures laid out by the group and by regulatory bodies.To act as an ambassador for the group at all times, actively promoting its services .

Key Accountabilities :
  • A passion for safeguarding and protecting vulnerable clients;

Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients through empathy, strong communication and careful management of clients’ expectations;

Manage a caseload of Community Care and Court of Protection/ Deprivation of Liberties matters;

Actively participate in departmental meetings, suggesting improvements to our services/ processes where appropriate;

Help to bring in new business to the firm through developing external relationships and dealing effectively with new enquiries;

Work to hit/ exceed KPIs including chargeable hours and billing requirements.

  • You will have at least 2+ years PQE (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience of Community Care Law and / or Court of Protection (welfare) / DOLS work and Legal Aid funding
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
