Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with personal care needs, such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Promote reablement by encouraging customers to work in partnership to follow an agreed, personalized care plan.
  • Prepare meals/snacks to promote good nutrition and hydration, ensuring food hygiene practices.
  • Administer Medication to customers as required, adhering to MCJA’s Medicines Policy.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Hours of work: Shifts between 7am - 2pm (morning & lunch), 3pm - 11pm (tea & beds), including weekend work. You can choose your shift pattern during the interview.

We are looking for:

  • Reliable, hardworking individuals with a genuine desire to care.
  • Providing support to vulnerable adults in their homes, including domestic duties and personal care.
  • Visiting service users in various locations within the area.
  • Assisting with meal prep, medication, laundry, bathing, dressing, and continence care.
  • Offering companionship and emotional support.
  • Good communication skills, a sense of humor, and common sense are essential.

This role is also known as Carer, Care Assistant, Care Worker, and Domiciliary Care Assistant.
