Job summary

Bluebird Care is seeking Care Assistants to join our team covering Rye, Bexhill, Hastings, Battle and surrounding areas. You will help people stay in their own homes with compassionate, personalised care.

We offer hourly rates from £14.50 to £15.50, a 45p mileage allowance, guaranteed hours, double pay on Bank Holidays, and 28 days holiday pro rata. Full training and NVQ progression are supported, with flexible hours and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Have authorisation to work in the UK.
• Have a full UK driving licence and ownership of a car.
• Customer-focused caring mindset and ability to work in a community setting.

Responsibilities

• Promoting customer independence and wellbeing in the community.
• Assist with personal care, medication reminders and daily activities.
• Support with light housekeeping, meals and companionship.
