Community Care Assistant - Domiciliary Care, Downpatrick

Job Description:

Pay Rate:

  • Monday - Friday - £11.90 per hour
  • Saturday & Sunday - £12.60 per hour
  • Bank Holiday: £13.00 per hour
  • PLUS 35p mileage

Shifts available: Range of shifts available - part time & full time.

We do not currently offer sponsorship.

What you'll do:

Our community care assistants perform tasks that hold significant value to our clients, helping them live safer and more supported lives at home, following personalized care plans.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Personal Care: Assist with hygiene, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transferring.
  • Health Monitoring: Manage medications and report health changes.
  • Daily Living Assistance: Help with feeding if needed.
  • Companionship and Emotional Support: Engage clients socially and emotionally.
  • Care Plan Implementation: Follow tailored care plans and collaborate with healthcare teams.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe environment and adhere to protocols.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records and report concerns.
