Job Description:

Position – Community Care Responder

Hours – Guaranteed 30 hours per week with shift patterns of 7:00am to 2:30pm and 3:30pm to 10:00pm, on a 2-week rolling rota with alternate weekends

Location – Stratford-upon-Avon, Alcester, and Henley-in-Arden

Our primary goal is to provide appropriate support to individuals and families, enabling people to remain in the comfort of their homes, preserving their independence, dignity, and lifestyle choices after hospital stays.

This is a new service in the area aimed at alleviating pressure on the NHS by supporting those discharged from hospital and helping them reduce their care needs.

You will be a trained first responder, delivering high-quality care to clients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, helping them set and achieve recovery goals.

The role focuses on client recovery and promoting a happy, healthy, and independent life. Responsibilities include personal care (bathing, washing, toileting, medication) and motivating clients daily to meet their objectives and well-being. Occupational Health and Physiotherapists will support you as needed.

We have multiple full-time positions available and require candidates to be ready to start immediately after recruitment checks.

Applicants must have access to their own vehicle or transport and a valid driving license.

Qualifications or experience are not mandatory, as we offer comprehensive, free training including standard care courses and advanced training modules.
