Home Instead in the United Kingdom is seeking compassionate part-time care companions to brighten the lives of older clients in our community. You’ll provide companionship, help with everyday activities, light home tasks and accompany clients to appointments, building trusting relationships with regular clients.

Job Description

What will you be doing?

Every client is different, so no two days are exactly the same. Your role may include:

• Providing companionship and conversation
• Helping clients with everyday activities
• Supporting with light household tasks
• Helping clients maintain their independence
• Accompanying clients on outings or appointments
• Offering practical and emotional support
• Building genuine, trusting relationships with regular clients

Sometimes, the most important thing you’ll do is simply sit down, have a cup of tea and listen to someone’s stories.
