Home Instead in Leigh, United Kingdom, is looking for caring CAREGivers to help older adults at home with daily routines, meals, light housework and companionship.
You will support independence, accompany clients to shops or appointments, assist with medication prompting, and enjoy a training program that boosts your confidence and skills. DBS enhanced disclosure is required.
Home Instead is the world’s leading provider of non‑medical care and companionship services for older people. With minimum visits of one hour, award‑winning training and an excellent reputation we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide. We match our CAREGivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enable us to provide personalized support.
So, what's the job really about?
Well, imagine popping by to help Mrs. Smith start her day. One moment you’re assisting her out of bed and helping her choose an outfit, and the next, you’re sharing a cuppa and a natter as she enjoys her breakfast. Later, you might be off to Mr. Jones’ to make sure he’s got his medication sorted and assisting him with a refreshing shower and a hot meal on the table. Maybe a quick tidy‑up, or a trip to the shops is on the cards as well.
But here's the special bit. You’re not just a helper; you’re a lifeline, a listener, and often a good laugh! You ensure all of your clients are comfortable and safe to enable them to stay independent in their own homes.
Interested in training? Home Instead is a step above the rest. Our training is not just about ticking boxes; it’s about elevating your skills and boosting your confidence to enable you to provide high quality care.
What you will bring:
Help clients to remain happy, healthy, and thriving in their own homes! Responsibilities may include:
As a CAREGiver, you will receive industry leading training, great rates of pay and excellent support.
We encourage applications from all sections of the community as we want to reflect the neighbourhoods in which we work. Home Instead is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults and expects all staff to share this commitment. This role is subject to DBS enhanced disclosure.
