Herts at Home is seeking a compassionate Community Care Assistant to provide in-home support across Letchworth. This part-time role offers 10-30 hours per week with some weekend work and a pay rate of £15.53 per hour plus 40p per mile.
You will supervise and mentor clients, assist with personal care, meals and medications, and help maintain independence in the community. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential; sponsorship is not offered.

Pay Rate: £15.53 Per Hour & 40p Per Mile
Working Hours: Mornings 7am - 2pm Evenings 4pm - 10pm. Some weekend working would be beneficial

About Herts at Home

Duties:
Provide direct care and support to clients in their homes or community settings
Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
Monitor and record clients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring clients' dietary needs are met
Carrying out moving and assisting techniques specific to the clients needs.
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress -Medication Administration
