Position – Community Care Responder
Hours – Guaranteed 30 hours per week with shift patterns of 7:00am till 2:30pm and 3:30pm till 10:00pm, on a 2-week rolling rota with alternate weekends.
Overview: Join a CQC-rated 'Good' care provider committed to supporting individuals to remain in their homes, promoting independence, dignity, and lifestyle choices, especially after hospital stays.
This is a new service aimed at alleviating pressure on the NHS by supporting post-hospital patients to recover and reduce their care needs.
Role: As a first responder, you will be trained to deliver high-quality care, assisting clients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, helping them achieve recovery goals and maintain independence.
Responsibilities include personal care (bathing, washing, toileting, medication management), motivating clients, and promoting their well-being. Support from Occupational Health and Physiotherapists will be available as needed.
We are hiring for multiple full-time positions. You must be available to start immediately after recruitment checks.
Requirements: Own vehicle or transport and a valid driving license are necessary.
No formal qualifications or experience required; comprehensive training will be provided, including standard care training and advanced courses.
