Job summary

RJS RESOURCING LTD is recruiting community support workers to help individuals maintain independence in their own homes. We welcome applications from experienced or trainee carers.

Pay is £13.55ph on weekdays and £13.70ph on weekends, with comprehensive training, mileage and travel time paid, staff accommodation and company cars, and team-building events. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, supervising medications, meal support, light housework, and accompanying service users

Qualifications

• Compassionate and reliable individuals.
• Paid or voluntary caring experience helpful but not essential; full training provided.
• Drivers with a valid UK license.
• Available for alternate weekends and shift work.

Responsibilities

• Assisting service users with personal hygiene tasks while maintaining dignity and comfort.
• Accurate and timely administration of prescribed medications, following protocols and record-keeping.
• Support with meal preparation and feeding assistance to ensure nutritious meals.
• Help with light household tasks to maintain a safe living environment.
• Accompanying service users to appointments and activities to promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Assisting service users with a range of personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, showering, dressing, and toileting, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained.
• Accurate and timely administration of prescribed medications, following strict protocols and record-keeping procedures.
• Support with meal preparation, ensuring service users have access to nutritious food and assisting with feeding when necessary.
• Helping with household tasks, such as light cleaning, laundry, and shopping, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment
• Accompanying service users to appointments, social events, and recreational activities, promoting their independence and social inclusion.

Requirements

• Compassionate and reliable individuals.
• Experience caring for others, either in a paid or voluntary capacity would be helpful but not essential as full training given.
• Drivers with a valid UK license.
• Availability for alternate weekends and shift work.
