Job summary

Carewise24 is seeking a Community Care Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centred care in clients' homes across the community. You will build trusting relationships and help clients live independently, safely, and with dignity.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle.
• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support during meals and daily activities.
• Prompt and assist clients with taking medications safely and on time.
• Deliver personal care as required, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Support daily routines while promoting independence and wellbeing.
• Encourage activities that improve quality of life and social interaction.
• Build trusting, respectful relationships and provide emotional support.

As a Community Care Assistant, you'll build meaningful, lasting relationships with your clients while supporting them to live independently, safely, and with dignity. Every day brings the opportunity to have a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support during breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner visits
• Prompt and assist clients with taking their medication safely and on time
• Deliver personal care where required, including washing, bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Support clients with their daily routines while promoting independence
• Encourage activities that improve wellbeing and quality of life, from enjoying time in the garden to pursuing hobbies and social interaction
• Build trusting, respectful relationships with clients and provide emotional support

Working Hours

• Minimum commitment of 25 hours per week.
• Rotas are issued 1week in advance and may occasionally be amended to meet client needs
• Applicants must be available to work flexible shifts between 7:00am and 10:00pm, including alternate weekends

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided.
