Hours: To be discussed

On-call Frequency: 1:14; Category A - 3% on-call supplement

Location: Cherry Tree House, Cheriton High Street, Folkestone, Kent, CT18 8AN

Qualifications Needed:
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • CCT or equivalent
  • Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
  • Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST

This is a full-time, substantive CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist role based at Cherry Tree House, Folkestone. The post involves working with a team of professionals, influencing service development, and providing expert psychiatric care to children and young people.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide care as part of multidisciplinary teams across Folkestone and Dover
  • Offer senior medical support and guidance
  • Work directly with young people and their families, liaising with external providers and hospitals
  • Participate in the on-call rota (currently 1:14, with a 3% on-call supplement)
  • Support team members and collaborate with other health and social professionals

GMC:
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
Qualifications:
  • CCT or equivalent
