Job description

Role
We are looking for volunteers to assist in our free community cafe at St Andrews Methodist church, Cromer Road, Sheringham.

The Do Drop In Café runs on a Wednesday from 11am until 1pm, serving tea/coffee from 11am and a light lunch from 12.

Responsibilities:

  1. Setting up for Café
  2. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the venue, kitchen, and bathrooms
  3. Serving hot drinks and meals

We seek volunteers with a love for people, a desire to welcome and treat our friends with love, dignity, and respect. We promote confidential conversations and endeavor always to respect and keep boundaries between service users and volunteers.

Time Commitment:
Looking for availability at the café opening times stated, plus a short time before and after for setting up and clearing away.

About the Organisation:
Our work is based on our faith and our Café seeks to bring together people from all walks of life for vibrant and exciting confidential conversations shared over homemade meals. Our meals are free of charge and are a gift from the Methodist Church to our communities.
