Job summary

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust in Leicestershire is recruiting a Band 3 Breathlessness Rehabilitation Assistant to join our Community Breathlessness Rehabilitation team. The post involves travel across Leicestershire to deliver rehabilitation in multiple locations to patients with chronic respiratory and cardiac conditions.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team and support patient assessments, walking tests, and the delivery of group exercise and education sessions.

Qualifications

• Experience in health care or exercise setting preferred.
• Basic knowledge of pulmonary and/or cardiac rehab.
• Able to work with members of the public.
• Able to work in a team and be enthusiastic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver community-based breathlessness rehabilitation classes across Leicestershire.
• Complete patient assessments and walking tests.
• Assist clinicians with group exercise and education sessions.
• Support administrative tasks related to rehabilitation.
