Job Description

Are you a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) looking for a rewarding locum role in Manchester? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Job Details:

• Location: Manchester
• Duration: 3 months ongoing
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Rate of Pay: £26 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for adults in the community.
• Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support recovery and well-being.
• Offer crisis intervention and risk management strategies to ensure patient safety.
• Liaise with families, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with NHS standards and guidelines.
• Support service users with medication management and adherence.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Current and valid NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse.
• Previous experience working as a CPN within an adult mental health setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
