Community and Partnerships Officer - Wirral

As a Talking Therapies partnership, we are looking for a Community & Partnership Officer who can bring their knowledge, skills, and passion for working with communities to this dynamic service.

The Community & Partnership Officer will support the contracted engagement work needed for the NHS talking therapies service within The Wirral. It is important to establish effective pathways, a strong community presence, and build partnerships within the area. The role will help expand the service's reach and incorporate community voices to influence change within the service and the wider mental health system.

About The Role
  1. Assist the Community Development Team Manager by coordinating with local teams to create new pathways/links that meet community needs, using insights from key relationships to inform development plans.
  2. Provide project support for service and clinical leadership teams to develop and implement these pathways, engaging with partners and facilitating service development meetings to create community access opportunities.
  3. Assist with monitoring and evaluating the impact of pathways using feedback from staff and patients to improve service delivery.
  4. Build and develop relationships with key community groups to tailor activities that support access to services based on local demographics.
  5. Coordinate with Marketing and Communications teams to develop and implement a local marketing toolkit for impactful promotional messages relevant to the community.
  6. Undertake additional duties to support the development of integrated pathways and transformation projects, aiming to make talking therapies more accessible and improve outcomes.
