A community-focused charity based in West Midlands is seeking a Community Environment Project Officer to lead countryside projects and engage with local communities. The role involves supervising volunteers and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Strong practical background in conservation is required along with excellent interpersonal skills. SALARY: £24,858 per annum
HOURS: 37 hours per week
CONTRACT TYPE: Full time

LOCATION: Stoke on Trent base, with regular travel around West Midlands area when required

The Project Officer will support the Land Team in the delivery of countryside and conservation-based projects across Groundwork West Midlands’ portfolio of country parks, nature reserves, and community greenspaces. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong practical background in countryside management, conservation, or land-based work.
Note: A full driving licence is essential and access to own vehicle for the role which entails travel to various sites around the region.
