Citizens Advice is seeking a dedicated individual to provide information and support on social welfare law at community outreach locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining records of interactions and supporting volunteers, sometimes outside regular hours. This role presents an opportunity to make a significant impact in the community.
The postholder will provide information, advice and practical support on all social welfare law matters, to people attending community outreach locations, maintaining clear and accurate records of client interactions. They will provide support and guidance to our outreach volunteers and will attend community events and one-off advice and information sessions, some of which may be outside normal office hours, including Saturdays on occasion.
A DBS check will be required for this role. Having a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. We will consider job applicants on their individual merits.
