We're looking for a senior clinical decision maker who can provide advice, clinical, operational and strategic leadership to the community specialist palliative care team.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Band 8a, Competency Based Framework,£55,368 - £62, 319 pro rata.
Working Pattern: 30 hours per week
Based at:Little Hulton, Salford

The successful candidate will be subject to a Enhanced DBS Check, the cost of which is covered by the hospice. Any post holder within the organisation will be expected to undertake safeguarding training appropriate to their role and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures. Main duties of the job
The Community Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist will:
- Act as a senior clinical decision maker providing advice to the Clinical Nurse Specialists and other Healthcare professionals in relation to complex situations.
- Provide clinical, operational and strategic leadership to the community specialist palliative care team.
- Work across Organisational boundaries, providing advice and face to face clinical assessment over 7 days. This will include patients in Salford Royal at weekends and on Bank Holidays.
- Demonstrate and develop the skills required to practice at an advanced level including prescribing and clinical examination skills.
- Act in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council Code of Conduct.

- Ensure that patient documentation is accurate, disseminating all relevant changes in the patients condition to the multi-disciplinary team. Be competent with using IT systems to facilitate sharing and communication of information
