Job summary

CHEP is seeking an experienced internal communications professional to shape and deliver regional and function-specific communications. You will build cross-functional networks, execute campaigns, and measure impact across channels such as SharePoint, articles, videos, and events.

Role emphasizes collaboration with Digital and Transformation teams to align messaging and drive employee engagement, while supporting leadership stakeholders and crisis communications planning.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement internal communications strategies with regional/business stakeholders.
  • Build an internal network to identify opportunities and tailor regional messaging.
  • Execute communication plans for key projects ensuring regional alignment.
  • Develop and update crisis communications and response protocols for the region.
  • Assist in production and approval of corporate reports, presentations, and publications.
  • Identify and track metrics to measure program effectiveness and improve strategies.
  • Create content across formats: news articles, videos, podcasts, infographics, visuals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve internal communications.
  • Support Digital and Transformation change communications with senior stakeholders.
  • Lead campaigns that support Transformation and Digital communications strategy.
  • Deliver content across channels (SharePoint, news, videos, events) to inspire engagement.
  • Partner with Digital and Transformation teams to ensure aligned messaging and resources.

Key Responsibilities May Include:
  • Define and implement engaging, relevant, and timely internal communications strategies in collaboration with business stakeholders for specific regions or functions.
  • Build a robust internal network within the organization to identify communication opportunities and challenges, while working closely with global teams to tailor regional communications effectively.
  • Execute communication plans for key projects and initiatives that support broader company objectives, ensuring alignment across regions and functions.
  • Develop and update crisis communications and response protocols for the region or function, working with regional teams to ensure preparedness.
  • Assist in the production and approval of corporate reports, presentations, and other publications, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Identify and track key metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication programs, continuously improving communication strategies based on data insights.
  • Create compelling content across multiple formats, including news articles, videos, podcasts, infographics, and other visual communication tools.
  • Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance communication capabilities and drive wider awareness of effective internal communication practices across the organization.
  • Work closely with senior business stakeholders, the Digital Communications Manager and the Change and Transformation Comms Leadto design and execute Digital and Transformationinternal change communications strategies and plans.
  • Lead the design and delivery of communications campaigns which support the wider Transformation and Digital communications strategy and plans.
  • Create and deliver a wide range of content across internal communication channels (such as news articles, SharePoint sites, videos, visual materials and virtual events) which inspire audiences and drive employee engagement.
  • Partner and collaborate with stakeholders within the Digital and Transformation teams and across the business to deliver creative, engaging communications.
  • Build strong networks within the Digital and Transformation teams and across the business to drive collaboration, align messaging, share resources and deliver joined-up communications.
  • Work with regional communication and marketing teams to adapt and tailor global messaging and materials for diverse audiences, including external audiences.
  • Measure impact and proactively assess communication effectiveness by identifying and analysing key metrics and creating and applying best practices.
  • Proactively seek feedback and input from stakeholders to refine and constantly improve communication effectiveness.
