Job description

Are you a talented PR & Communications Specialist with a knack for crafting compelling stories? We're looking for someone to join our client's dynamic team in London. If you have at least three years of experience in public relations, preferably within a law firm, we want to hear from you!

Working closely with the Assistant Director of Communications and the wider Marketing team, this role will focus on external PR for specific practice areas across London. It will involve close collaboration with our client's US colleagues as well as PR agencies in Europe to ensure a coordinated approach to PR globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement PR strategies to boost our visibility and reputation.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and media contacts.
  • Secure media coverage and facilitate interviews, articles, and features.
  • Prepare spokespeople for media interactions and draft talking points.
  • Create engaging content for press releases, articles, and social media.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and PR agencies in Europe.
  • Monitor media coverage and manage media inquiries.
  • Plan and execute PR events and track campaign effectiveness.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of three years' experience, including writing for a range of platforms (e.g., publications, social media, thought leadership, media announcements).
  • Prior experience in either journalism, a PR agency, a PR team in a law firm, or professional services preferred.
