Description

The Communications & PR Coordinator supports the Communications team in executing strategies, product launches, events, and digital activations aligned with business objectives. This role promotes the brand and its products through social and editorial coverage across consumer and trade print, as well as social media. The Communications & PR Coordinator is responsible for managing press office administrative duties, reporting, and facilitating influencer engagements to increase brand visibility and media presence.

What This Role Does

Support Communications Strategy

  • Assist in the planning and execution of communications strategies, product launches, and press activations aligned with overall business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure 360-degree campaigns are strategically aligned.
  • Organise charity events and support sustainability initiatives.
  • Assist influencer outreach, research, and partnerships, helping identify influencers for key campaigns

Event Planning & Execution

  • Support the Communications team in event planning and organisation, including supplier negotiations and managing timelines.
  • Oversee event logistics and ensure all roles and responsibilities are clearly assigned.
  • Develop and maintain the activation calendar across multiple brands, ensuring seamless execution of events

Media & Influencer Relations

  • Foster and manage relationships with influencers, digital media, and press contacts.
  • Regularly pitch new content ideas, and creative strategies to influencers and media outlets.
  • Track influencer engagement and content goals, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.
  • Identify partnership opportunities with like-minded brands or influencers to drive awareness.

Press Office Administration & Reporting

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the press office, coordinating mail-out calendars and ensuring timely product distribution to press and influencers.
  • Update and maintain press and influencer assets, ensuring all materials are legally approved, up to date, and relevant to the UK market.
  • Raise POs and manage product orders as required.
  • Compile and track competitor ranking reports, and provide event recaps for senior stakeholders.
  • Create bi-weekly coverage announcements and report on influencer and media engagements.

Support Brand Presentations & Strategy Decks

  • Assist the Communications Manager in preparing strategy decks and brand presentations for all brands.
  • Contribute to broader communications efforts by providing support on various strategic initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Experience in a communications, PR, social media or media relations role, preferably within the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and experience using media tracking tools and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with influencers, media contacts, and event planning, would be advantageous
