Qualifications

  • Proven experience developing and delivering strategic communications and media campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of media relations with journalist and broadcast contacts.
  • Excellent understanding of corporate communications, branding and audience engagement.
  • Experience in banking, financial services or similar complex corporate environment.
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, including C-suite audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Job description

An international financial services organisation is looking for an experienced Communications & Media Relations Manager to lead the media strategy for a high-profile Markets and Economics business.

This is a strategic communications role, focused on raising the profile of senior spokespeople, economic research and key business priorities across UK and international media, with a particular emphasis on broadcast.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, communications colleagues and business leaders to develop compelling media campaigns, identify opportunities and ensure consistent, high-quality messaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience working within banking, financial services, investment or another complex corporate environment.
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and strong personalities, including C-suite audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • A collaborative, commercially minded approach and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
