The role: Communications Performance & Insights Lead

This role plays an important part in ensuring our communications are insight-led, effective and continuously improving.

  • Collect, analyse and interpret data in a clear and engaging way (e.g. dashboards) that is easily understood and acted on, and valued across Corporate Affairs and the wider business. Insights should guide communications decision-making, inform strategy and improve engagement
  • Gather data sets and insights from across the business and incorporate these into reporting and dashboards, to provide greater depth and breadth to Corporate Affairs analysis and highlight where we can support the business more through our communications (eg, ba.com destination search data following a route launch, customer data insight following a product launch etc)
  • Conduct social media listening and relevant media monitoring, identifying reputational issues and trends and deliver real-time insights
  • Work with colleagues and external agencies to track and evaluate Corporate Affairs activity performance
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and bring fresh thinking to how we use and present data
Your experience

Your experience:

  • 5 years+ experience of working with communications-related data and analytics and social media listening and all associated tools
  • Experience of working in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Strong, demonstrable understanding of social media landscape and best practice
  • Proven experience of reporting to drive improvements and increase impact
