Job description

Location: Home working with regular travel across Scottish Autism locations, FK10 3SA

Salary: £28,744 - £30,837 per year pro-rata

Contract Type: Permanent

Position Type: Part Time

Hours: 23 hours per week

Work From Home: Hybrid

Location: Flexible / Homeworking with requirement to attend Scottish Autism locations regularly.

About the role:

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you’ll work closely with a collaborative and enthusiastic team to deliver compelling content and meaningful campaigns. You’ll help shape how we connect with our communities, raise awareness of our work, and support the wider organisation to share their stories.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop a process for ensuring the great work done in our services can be promoted throughout our internal and external communications channels
  • Maintain and develop our new website, ensuring it’s kept up to date and that we consistently put out new content for our audiences
  • Lead on the delivery of key internal communications channels, helping to foster and develop a great culture

Support the Media and Policy Officer in increasing the impact of our media work and creating content and materials to support our policy campaigns.

Someone who’s organised, enthusiastic and a strong communicator - someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited by the idea of supporting a mission-driven team. You’ll be confident with digital and traditional media platforms.

You’ll bring:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience of managing a project from beginning to end, and driving it forward
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
  • Experience in a similar marketing and/or communications role
  • Understanding of how marketing and communications can drive awareness and engagement
  • Familiarity with websites, social media, and digital content (experience in design or video is desirable)
  • A love for creativity, storytelling, and social impact

A full UK Driving License is desirable due to occasional travel for events or collaboration with support services.
