Communications Officer


Salary from £36,008 to £40,991 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £43,854 pa inclusive of London allowance.


We are seeking a creative communications professional to tell the story of what we do and amplify the Department of Management’s trusted voice for research excellence, educational rigour and global impact.


With our global community of people and ideas at the heart of everything you do, you will play an integral role in our commitment to drive positive change by informing and inspiring a deeper understanding of management.


You will take the lead on sharing stories, news, information and events to keep our community informed and engaged and will plan and deliver staff newsletters, making decisions based on insight.


You will also develop communication campaigns to drive forward departmental objectives and will utilise your creativity to produce digital content such as images, infographics and videos. You will have a sound knowledge of online channels, and work as part of a dynamic team to deliver an ambitious digital vision for the Department of Management.


This is a busy role that will require an outstanding writer with a sharp eye for detail and excellent editorial instincts. You will enjoy working closely with colleagues to meet shared goals and have meticulous planning and organisational skills.
