Salary: £31,527 per annum, pro rata (£19,231 per annum)

As a Communications Officer, you will be working for a people-led organisation whose mission and values are to inspire change across Sussex. The role sits within our Fundraising and Publicity team and plays a key role in raising the profile of BHT Sussex through clear, engaging and accessible communications. Working across a range of internal and external channels, you will help promote our services, demonstrate our impact, support fundraising campaigns and appeals, and ensure all communications reflect our brand, values and tone of voice.
You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to gather stories, create compelling digital content, develop newsletters and promotional materials, support internal communications and help maintain effective engagement with donors, supporters, partners and stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative communicator who wants to make a positive difference by helping more people understand and support BHT Sussex's work.
The Fundraising and Publicity Department is responsible for promoting the work and impact of BHT Sussex, supporting fundraising activity, engaging supporters and stakeholders, and ensuring consistent, high-quality communications across the organisation. The team works closely with services and departments across BHT Sussex to raise awareness, strengthen engagement and support the organisation's mission to inspire change across Sussex
