DESCRIPTION

Amazon is seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join its UK Stores & Corporate Communications team. You will be responsible for delivering campaigns for large scale shopping moments, including events like Prime Day and Black Friday, and creating activity that demonstrates the value customers get while shopping with Amazon. The role will report to the Head of Consumer Communications UK.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Develop and manage integrated PR campaigns around key retail moments
  2. Deliver campaigns and launches around shopping innovations
  3. Write campaign plans, messaging, and media-facing materials
  4. Build relationships with key media outlets and secure coverage
  5. Provide counsel to internal executives on PR challenges and opportunities
  6. Collaborate with agencies and international teams to implement PR activity
  7. Work with internal teams across the business to deliver projects on time
  8. Manage complex PR challenges from both the business and the media
  9. Support issues management related to the UK retail business

  1. Proven track record that demonstrates comfort in dealing with high-level media contacts across news, lifestyle, and broadcast sectors
  2. Retail experience, with knowledge of the UK retail market
  3. Experience with social media and influencer partnerships
  4. Experience managing complex communications programs
