COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER - EXTERNAL

MANCHESTER

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Get Recruited are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation who are looking for a Communications Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be able to drive growth across all communications and outreach initiatives.

This is a great opportunity for someone from a Communications, Communications Strategy, Communications and Outreach, Communications Executive, Senior Communications Executive or similar role.

THE ROLE:

  1. Develop and implement effective communication strategies.
  2. Design and lead campaigns through a mix of digital, print, and media channels.
  3. Develop written and visual content, including articles, blog posts, reports, newsletters, social media posts and presentations.
  4. Oversee the management and continuous improvement of the websites (both front-end and back-end).
  5. Utilise data analytics to assess the effectiveness of communications and outreach initiatives, optimise strategies and improve performance.
  6. Travel to events as required to represent the organisation.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including businesses, clients, and external suppliers.

THE PERSON:

  1. Proven experience in building and managing small teams.
  2. Experience managing websites, content management systems, and the use of analytic tools to drive data driven decisions.
  3. Must be able to travel across Europe to attend or represent at key events.
  4. Work well independently and also within a team.
