Basic Salary Up to £45,000 dependant on experience with benefits

Our client, a well-established and highly reputable business membership organisation based in Central London is currently looking for a Communications Manager

If you are a Communications Manager and excellent writer with excellent media relations and digital communications experience working for a similar membership body, trade association, professional body, not for profit, charity, corporate or B2B we would love to hear from you.

The Communications Manager will play a critical role in building and protecting our reputation with key audiences, including the media, Members, and external stakeholders (including government) as the voice of businesses.

They will support our work positioning the business membership organisation as the leading authority on issues relevant to businesses and as an organisation advocating for businesses in the UK.

Working with the Communications Director and colleagues across the business membership organisation, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering compelling messaging that strengthen the organisation’s influence, fostering engagement with the wider business community, the media, our Members and key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic and creative communicator. They will be an accomplished writer and storyteller with a strong understanding of media relations, stakeholder engagement and digital communications. They will demonstrate a track record of crafting compelling messages that resonate with diverse audiences. Experience of writing for magazines and periodicals would be an advantage.
