A fast-growing fashion brand in Leeds is seeking a Communications Manager to lead external communications and enhance brand credibility. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience and exceptional content creation skills, thriving in a dynamic environment. The Role
We’re looking for a strategic, creative and highly motivated Communications Manager to take our consumer facing communications to the next level. This is a rare opportunity to lead & shape the future of external comms at Gym King.
In this newly created role, you'll help create a fashion-led communication strategy that builds brand credibility, drives consideration, and supports our ambitious commercial growth plans. You'll be responsible for ensuring consistent, engaging, and aligned messaging across all channels.

Role Purpose
Designing and delivering consistent multi-channel communications plans and campaigns that excite, inform, educate, and build engagement.
Responsibilities
·Planning: Develop and implement integrated communication plans that align with brand strategic plans and goals and enhance brand awareness and reputation.
·Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers. Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and handle media inquiries.
·Content Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality content including internal and external newsletters, enhancing the brand hub website content, B2B brand wholesale brochures, monthly brand newsletters and LinkedIn calendar.
·Internal Communications: Enhance the internal communications for staff
·Digital: Work closely with the brand team to ensure cohesive messaging from brand hub to social channels. Monitor engagement and provide insights to refine communications efforts.
·Event Support: Provide communications support for events and activations.
·Performance Tracking: Measure and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns. Adjust tactics based on data and feedback.
·Brand Identity & Design: Champion and safeguard our visual identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms. You'll advocate for exceptional customer experience, refine brand guidelines, and support branding for strategic projects,
·Brand Positioning & Messaging: Craft compelling content and campaigns that bring our brand positioning and value propositions to life. You'll ensure consistent messaging and tone of voice across all channels, supporting new strategic launches.
About you
-3+ years’ experience in communications, public relations, or related field.
-Evidence experience managing corporate social media channels and digital content.
-Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication, with strong copywriting and proofreading skills.
-The ability to write compelling copy in plain English, ensuring consistent tone of voice.
-Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced business.
-Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering excellence.
-Demonstrable track record of supporting the execution of a brand strategy to deliver against ambitious commercial goals, with a passion for content creation & experience of self-generating compelling content that resonates
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
-Confident and professional when dealing with media, executives, and key stakeholders.

Benefits:
Working hours: Due to the nature of this role, the hours will be full time (37.5 hours per week) Monday-Friday, although a flexible approach is required at times to meet the needs of the role.
Location: This role is based at Unit 6 Temple Point, Bullerthorpe Lane, Colton, Leeds LS15 9JL. 2 minutes off the M1 J46. 20 minutes from Leeds station.
