Communications Lead

FMCG

Remote (travel required once or twice per month)

An international FMCG wholesaler is looking to appoint a Communications Lead to join the business to revamp their communications framework and drive the business reputation.

With one direct report, this role will begin with an audit of current agency use and comms practices and implementing changes where needed.

While this role is predominantly remote, there will be an expectation to travel to their London office or other sites once or twice per month (travel will be paid for).

Key responsibilities:

  • Audit and drive communications best practice for the business
  • Identify opportunities to improve brand reputation
  • Crisis communications management to address any negative publicity
  • Identify new channels and manage existing channels and relationships
  • Manage internal comms activity where required
  • 5+ years experience in Communications roles
  • Fluency or advanced Spanish speaking (fluency in English required)
  • Experience in FMCG/Food and Beverage/Retail
  • Relationships with UK PR/Media agencies
