Job description

We have the opportunity for a Communications Executive to join our Marketing & Communications department here at Tokio Marine Kiln. Reporting into the Head of Marketing & Communications, you will be responsible for developing and delivering effective and impactful internal and external communications plans and content that enable TMK’s strategy.

This role includes responsibility for:

  • Developing and delivering internal and external communications plans and content to promote TMK’s brand, products and services, ensuring alignment with key business objectives and delivery of outcomes
  • Providing guidance to key stakeholders on effective communications
  • Crafting communications objectives and producing content for a range activities, ensuring consistency with key corporate and brand messages, including: news articles, emails, newsletters, case studies, talking points, video scripts,
  • Supporting PR and activities, including arranging interviews and speaking opportunities, preparing speakers and producing key messages and talking points
  • Producing simple graphics and uploading content to key channels including the intranet, websites, and social media, where required.
  • Providing input into marketing campaigns and activities, collaborating with team members to identify and leverage opportunities for cross internal/external and marketing promotion
  • Preparing measurement and activity reports, sharing insights and proposing recommendations
  • Sharing expertise and contributing to broader team projects and initiatives as needed

It is essential that the successful candidate holds a degree or professional qualification in a marketing or communications related discipline. A strong working knowledge of MS Powerpoint and proven experience using content management systems is also required. Some experience in using Adobe Photoshop is helpful and experience working within Insurance/London Market is preferred. We are looking for someone creative and proactive who has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
