We are seeking a creative Communications Coordinator with a background in general marketing and a light touch in bid design, ideally within the engineering sector. Key Responsibilities
General Marketing Support: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, and social media, to build brand awareness and generate leads.
Content Creation: Produce engaging marketing materials such as brochures, case studies, blog posts, and newsletters that highlight the company’s services, expertise, and successful projects.
Bid Design Assistance: Support the bid team with bid document design and formatting, ensuring documents are visually appealing, consistent with the brand, and clearly convey key information.
Branding and Messaging: Ensure marketing materials and bid documents reflect the company’s branding guidelines, maintaining a professional and cohesive image across all touchpoints.
Website and Social Media Management: Contribute to website content updates and manage social media accounts to promote company news, projects, and thought leadership in the engineering space.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs, providing insights to support marketing strategies and decision-making.
Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events, including trade shows, webinars, and client meetings, to enhance the company’s visibility and foster client relationships.
Collaboration: Work closely with the business development and project teams to ensure that marketing campaigns and bid proposals align with strategic goals and accurately represent the company’s capabilities.
Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights for future improvements and ensuring that marketing efforts are effective in achieving business objectives.
Requirements
Experience: At least 2-3 years of general marketing experience, with some exposure to bid design or proposal support within the engineering or construction sectors.
Design Skills: Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, PowerPoint) to assist with bid formatting and creating visually compelling marketing materials.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging content for various audiences.
Organisational Skills: Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Creativity: A creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas for marketing campaigns and content, with a focus on engaging and converting target audiences.

Tech-Savvy: Experience with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and website management is a plus.
