Job Summary
The Communications Consultant (Digital & Social Media) will play an important role in raising the profile of the organization, communicating its role in a changing landscape, and telling its story to a wide-ranging audience including political, business, and consumer sectors.
The role supports the delivery of effective and engaging content around Zero Waste Scotland’s priorities and activities; supporting digital projects and content strategies across various channels, including research, opportunity analysis, delivery, and analytics to produce world-class content that reaches both core and new audiences.
As part of the digital team, the role collaborates with the wider communications team to support multichannel communication plans, combining owned, earned, paid, and shared media.

Location: This role is flexible, with the possibility of home working. Occasional travel within Scotland may be required, including attendance at our Stirling office or client locations in the Central Belt. Applicants should reside within Scotland or North of England for ease of travel.
