Working in Mortgages, you’ll help design and deliver a clear communications and engagement strategy that supports our priorities and empowers colleagues. You’ll work closely with the other Communications Consultants to plan, design and implement creative and effective ways to communicate with colleagues.
We’re looking for someone with creativity and confident communication skills who enjoys finding innovative ways to engage colleagues.

The working hours (per week) for this role can be between 28 and 35 hours.
This is a 12 month secondment opportunity.

For this role, you'll be based at your nearest regional office or hub. If you are based at an office location, you'll be expected to meet our hybrid working requirement of at least two days a week, or 40% of your working time if part-time, in the office. What you’ll be doing
The Communications Consultant role provides the opportunity to create clear, engaging and purposeful colleague communications that help colleagues understand priorities, feel connected and know what matters most. You will organise meetings/events, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the business and audience needs, desired output and creative standard.
Working with the Senior Leadership team in Mortgagesas key stakeholders, you will be responsible for the delivery of communication activities and small projects by effective planning, organisation and co-ordination. You’ll be required to write specified communications deliverables – e.g. emails, intranet content and presentations and organise engagement events both in person and virtual. All helping inspire & equip colleagues across Mortgages to be their best.
You’ll play a key role in shaping, socialising and executing a simplified and streamlined communications & engagement strategy for Mortgages. This will connect Mortgage colleagues to the blueprint and priorities while supports the evolution of Mortgages and it’s culture and people plan. You will help ensure colleagues have the knowledge, resources and support to be the most capable workforce.
Finally, you will seek and interpret feedback from customers and business partners about colleague communications and engagement activities, making recommendations for future improvements.
