LocatED provides expert property advice to the education sector and government, helping develop estates strategy, acquire new sites and progress decarbonisation.

We are looking for a Communications Associate to support the Head of Marketing and Communications in designing, developing and delivering well planned internal and external communications, business development activities, marketing strategies, and corporate events.

This 6-month fixed term contract is a London-based hybrid role, which requires you to attend the office two/three days per week, ideally Tuesday to Thursday.

Main Duties & Responsibilities Include

  • Manage and maintain the PR and events calendar and communications grid.
  • Sole responsibility for social media and website content in line with events. Regularly update website content to remain current and compliant.
  • Produce monthly measurement and performance reports.
  • Creating briefs to develop/design marketing collateral and managing the production process either in-house or by external suppliers.
  • Plan and manage corporate events end-to-end, overseeing logistics, stakeholder engagement, presentations, exhibition support, and post-event evaluation.
  • Act as brand guardian, ensuring consistent messaging and design across all channels during a period of growth and diversification.
  • Collaborate with property teams to create compelling case studies that showcase LocatED’s work and impact.

About You

  • Experience in a communications, PR or marketing role.
  • Ideally educated to a degree level or hold a communications qualification such as CIM/CIPR.
  • Proven track record of effective social media management and content creation.
  • The ability to write articles, press releases or blog posts.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all communication.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
